I'll be giving a full review on this soon, but even though I've barely started this volume, I had to comment on it.
I wasn't a few pages into this when I noticed a *blatant* typo... and then another, and another... I don't think anyone proofed or even simply *read* this volume before it was pushed to the printers. And it's not small errors, it's large mistakes like extra words or words repeated. To think that so many fans waited so long for this translation and for it to be done so poorly is almost an insult. It's as if they think we'll take a crap product because there's no other alternative.
Has anyone else read this volume or the others? It's been a while since I read Vol. 1 and I can't remember if it was as badly done. Are other June products getting this bad as well?
After this and the German language mix-up recently in Blu's 'Croquis', I'm beginning to wonder at the overall quality of BL manga being put out these days... |

Is this available on Amazon or as a scan somewhere? My only introduction to this story was by that Kira and whatever I can get from the fanfic site.
How disappointing that it has crappy translation! Don't the publishers know that by being so sloppy in its translation it only disgusts the readers, thus, no one buys or supports it?? _________________

| You'd think so, wouldn't you? *sigh* Try downloading the original anime of Ai no Kusabi. It's pretty hot, although its *very* dated. There's also a new anime version that's just coming out, but I don't know if anyone's translated it. the old one was available over at aarin fantasy, if I recall correctly. |

I have the old one! I got it on Ebay and, yeah, it's dated but the characters come through so incredibly well..i.e., hotness intensified!
A new one?! OMG! When??? Even if it isn't translated, I'd still be interested. Is that available?!?!

| It's crazy the amount of over quality shift as of late. A lot of publishers in general, have been putting out a lot of half interesting work, plagued with blatant mistakes, I hesitate to say that its just a BL Manga thing. |

That...that was unbelievably...fricking HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The artwork is awesome, totally beautifully drawn! Riki looked so muscular and vulnerable at the same time! And Iason! Oh man, he looked perfect!!!
My eyes were bulging the whole time, I couldn't get over it. When is this coming out?!?!
Okay, I gotta wipe up the floor, I drooled so much... _________________
