Captain Bredhe
The dark-haired, brooding man is the commander of the transport ship,
Star-Crossed. His complicated past has lead him to be cynical and
sometimes ill tempered, but the Seraphim, Vali, may be the one person
who can open his heart.

Aud
As navigator of Star-Crossed, Aud is by far the youngest of the crew.
His limited experience is balanced by his incomparable knowledge of
physics and star-fight; he was something of a prodigy on his home planet.
Self-assured, but somewhat naïve in matters of love, Aud pines silently
after his crewmate, Daq.

Daq
Muscular and tall, Daq serves as the mechanic aboard Star-Crossed and is known
for being extremely loyal and good-natured. Although he feels a fierce attraction
toward Aud, he is nevertheless reluctant to make advances toward his inexperienced
crewmate.

Regent General Sorrell
A savvy politician and notorious sexual deviant, Sorrell is cunning, arrogant and
dangerously seductive. He has served as Regent for the Pan-Galactic Council for many
years despite a sometimes nefarious reputation. His past with Bredhe is not fully known.

Vali
Though he lived as a monk on his home planet of Isel, the Seraphim finds it difficult
to maintain his vows in the face of Bredhe’s tempting overtures. His duty to his people
on his war-torn world and his obligations to the Captain keep him in constant conflict.

Greycek
As a Dark Seraph, Greycek is considered by many to be a half-breed and an outcast and he
has become an outspoken rebel against the oppressive Cordenian government on Isel.
Because of the difficulties he has faced, he has learned to take life in stride and has a
cocky, self-confident air about him. However, his dealings with Sorrell may prove to be
more than he bargained for.
